Just came home to find a bundle of fan mail from readers from the Catherine McAuley National School in Baggot St.

I had the privilege to meet these wonderful pupils at my Hodges Figgis event last September. I'm delighted to be informed that since the event, the school has set up its first ever book club, kick-started with Alfie Green books and it is still going strong.

I want to thank all the pupils for your amazing letters and drawings and book reports you've sent to me. You are all very talented young people. Keep up the good work and continue to enjoy the wonders of reading books.
