Yesterday I had a wonderful time in the lovely town of Blessington. I visited three amazing schools, St. Brigid's, St. Mary's and Blessington No. 1.

The image above is the bundle of fantastic Alfie Green drawings given to me by the very talented pupils of Blessington No1 school.

All the pupils were very enthusiastic and we had a great time making up stories and of course I read from my books, Beyond The Cherry Tree and the Alfie Green series.

I was very well looked after by two very lovely ladies, Janet and Lucinda of the Blessington Bookstore.

The Blessington Bookstore is having a book fair on Saturday April 27th. You'll find lots of signed copies of my books there along with Author readings (I would highly recommend the Emily Mason event) and other exciting events.

It's worth a trip!
